I have never done so much shopping, not even for Christmas. I feel a strong temptation to buy everything related to biking: gear, nutrition, navigation software, and high-tech devices.
Unfortunately, due to a tight schedule, I wasn’t able to organize maintenance checkup for my bike. So, I’m left with trust and hope that my bike will hold up. I suppose this won’t be the first or last time I rely on sheer luck.
My only training session this year was a leisurely trip to a wine festival. It didn’t even cover 20 kilometers and involved less than 200 meters of elevation gain.
This is the first draft of the route, I should be taking.
